At our January meeting Gary Howell instructed us on how to better utilize our FWA Melbourne blog and gave us finer points on blogging in general. Resource for busy writers

If you’ve got a busy schedule, as we all do, I’d like to recommend a very short and interesting podcast called Writing Excuses. Each episode is only 15 minutes long but packed full of extraordinarily interested tidbits on writings. Subscribe in Itunes and download each episode to your portable MP3 player and then listen to it in the car on your drive to or from work.

When you subscribe using Itunes you will start by receiving only the most recent episode; however I highly recommend listening to the episode form October 2, 2011 titled Hollywood Formula. If you’re like me you’ll be surprised to find out that in most stories the antagonist is not the bad guy. To find out who the antagonist is listen the episode.
